Emotional Toxicity Questionnaire

Emotional toxicity is a major contributing factor to pretty much all chronic health problems, including autoimmunity and cancer of course. This is due to the very close relationship that exists between the nervous, the endocrine, and the immune system. I talk about this subject a lot because in the twenty plus years that I have been working in the field of natural medicine, it is very clear to me that this is the most misunderstood and underestimated of all the root causes of chronic illness.

Most people have a degree of emotional toxicity and I have definitely never met anyone with chronic symptoms that would not be emotionally toxic in some way. Even when people don't think they are, it is enough for me to talk to them for a few minutes and ask a few questions to make them realize that they need to work on their emotional responses after all.

I have devised a questionnaire to help you assess the level of your emotional toxicity because no matter how clean your diet and lifestyle is, and how many supplements you take, you will always fall short until you have addressed this side of health. On the other hand, addressing emotional toxicity will make everything you do at the biochemical level so much more effective, whether it is attempting to heal your gut, balance your hormones, detox heavy metals, or whatever else.

So grab a piece of paper and mark it every time the answer to a question is YES. Then count how many questions out of 54 you answered YES to. It is best to be honest with yourself. Do not worry if you discover you have answered YES to quite a few questions. Trust me, it is much better to know where you stand with this. There are many very effective tools to help you address emotional toxicity but it is important to first know what you are dealing with.
